Fancy a night of surprises, laughs, drama, genius, competition and amazing feats of science?

The Victoria FameLab semi-final is coming to the Melbourne Museum on Wednesday 23 March 2016!

Watch as some of Australia’s top early-career scientists entertain you on stage with their tales of science as they battle it out to become the state’s FameLab champion.

Have you ever pondered the science behind why some people are allergic to shellfish, or how atomic clocks work? Join us at this FREE event to hear scientific experts explain complex concepts like these in just three minutes using any means available! Jargon and PowerPoint are strictly BANNED but jokes, props and costumes are strongly encouraged!

Every presentation will be judged according to the golden rule of FameLab’s 3Cs: content, clarity and charisma. The Victoria winner will be announced on the night and will then go on to compete in the national FameLab final in Western Australia in May.
