At British Council Australia, we connect Australia and the UK through our programme of events, awards and projects in the areas of the arts, science and higher education.
With projects such as Realise Your Dream and ACCELERATE, we offer accomplished, creative and innovative Australians the chance to visit the UK and draw from its vital cultural climate and history. In turn, these projects introduce the UK to some of Australia’s best artistic talent.
Our work in the area of Science is focussed on discussion – promoting innovation and dialogue between Australia, UK and the East-Asian region. Our major project in this area, Big Green Idea, awards emerging Australian eco-entrepreneurs seed-funding and training to get their green businesses off the ground.
